my signature offering
The First Forty Days is the fullest expression of Nurtured Mother, created with an understanding that birth asks something profound of a woman—not only of her body, but of her whole inner world. In a season so often measured by feeds, sleep and the needs of a new baby, this offering gently turns attention back towards you.
This time is set aside from the beginning, creating a softer passage through the weeks after birth, with warmth, nourishment and devoted care woven throughout.
There is something warm to eat, something nourishing to drink, and someone quietly thinking about what might make you feel more comfortable. Comfort is woven quietly through the day—perhaps a herbal bath or foot soak, fresh linen, gentle nurturing touch, or simply noticing what would help you feel more settled before you have to ask.
You can feed your baby, sleep, shower, lie down or simply withdraw for a while, knowing the day around you is still being held.
Across these weeks, the care becomes familiar. I come to know the things that soothe you, the foods you enjoy, how your home flows and what helps you soften a little more each time I arrive.
It is not about hurrying your recovery or expecting you to return quickly to ordinary life. It is an invitation to live more slowly for a while, to honour all that your body and heart have moved through, and to allow yourself to receive care without first having to reach the end of your reserves.
Above all, it is a way of ensuring that as a new life is welcomed and cherished, you remain seen, nourished and cared for within it.
how care unfolds
It begins simply, and we take it from there
enquiry
tell me a little about where things are for you at the moment and the kind of support you are considering.
your visits
Each visit is shaped around what would care for you best that day. Sometimes that may mean nourishment and rest, sometimes gentle comfort and nurturing touch, and sometimes simply having the day around you quietly held so there is less for you to carry.
as the weeks change
what you need may change too, and care can respond to that naturally.
